Complexes


A Complex is a series of exercises using the same tool.

There are barbell complexes, kettlebell complexes, sandbag complexes and many others.  Done correctly, these are a great way to build strength, improve conditioning and increase muscle.

  • 60 to 90 seconds of work
  • 2 – 10 exercises performed
  • 1 – 10 reps/exercise

Barbell Complex

  • Deadlift
  • Hang Clean
  • Front Squat
  • Jerk/Overhead Press
  • Back Squat

KB Complex

  • Clean/Jerk left
  • Clean/Jerk right
  • Swing Left
  • Swing Right
  • Goblet Squat

Sandbag Complex

  • Rotational Lunge
  • Clean and Jerk
  • Front Loaded Squat
  • Cross Body Pull
  • Kneeling Arch Press
